For the eleven years in a row, KLM has been the event lead sponsor. Together with partners Deloitte and ABN AMRO, KLM has elevated the KLM Open to an even higher plan in recent years. The tournament is among the most progressive professional sporting events in terms of the spectator experience, business relations/marketing, the use of new media and eco-friendliness. In 2012 the KLM Open was awarded the title of most sustainable golf event in Europe for the second time. The KLM Open will be held at the Kennemer Golf & Country Club in Zandvoort again in 2015. Paul Casey is the reigning champion.
The European Senior Tour will returned to The Netherlands from October 10-12, with the Dutch Senior Open, held at The International near Schiphol Airport, added to the 2014 schedule. Designed by Ian Woosnam, the former Masters Champion and Ryder Cup Captain, The International will host a Senior Tour event for the first time, having staged the Deloitte Ladies Open earlier this year. Sixty Senior Tour professionals will compete for the €200,000 prize fund and they will play alongside an amateur partner for the first two rounds.
